The Chairman of the Energy Select Commitee Stephen Collins (David Morrisey) learns that his assistant has apparently taken her own life but his personal friend and reporter Cal (John Simm) soon finds evidence that leads him to believe her death was a suicide. Events lead from the discovery of their affair to secret agendas in the highest reaching political offices in the nation, unsuspecting story twists and even less suspected betrayals occur. Soon, Cal has the story of his life, but does he dare publish it?
