Roberto (Carmine Paternoster) helps a man called Franco (Tony Servillo) to seal some deals with people in the northern part of Italy. Franco’s work is criminal in nature. There are other people involved in the situation, like Pasquale (Salvatore Cantalupo), a tailor who makes celebrity clothing but is in danger due to dealings with non-Italians and Don Ciro (Gianfelice Imparato), who gives money to people whose family members are in jail. There are also younger would-be criminals who want to take over the Mafia world or who help assisting their neighbors in running drugs in the neighborhood.
